Description
The County of San Mateo, through San Mateo Medical Center, is seeking a Joint Commission-accredited vendor to provide centralized temporary registry staffing for nurses and other clinical and healthcare professionals. The scope may include registered nurses, nursing assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, laboratory professionals, radiology and respiratory professionals, physical and occupational therapy staff, perioperative personnel, physicians, social workers, and selected non-clinical healthcare support roles. The contractor will recruit and provide licensed and certified personnel on an as-needed basis; manage assignments and scheduling; conduct background checks, drug screening, health clearances, tuberculosis screening, vaccination and titer verification; verify licenses, certifications, competencies, and education; maintain credentialing records; and provide 24/7 administrative support. The work also includes utilization, cost, fill-rate, timekeeping, and trend reporting, executive oversight, HIPAA compliance, and required insurance coverage.
