Description
The City of Pensacola seeks one or more qualified firms to provide temporary employees on an as-needed basis across airport, natural gas, seaport, sanitation, public safety, public works, parks and recreation, office and administrative, and other municipal operations. Assignments may address vacancies, seasonal or temporary workloads, special projects, and continuity of operations; some positions may require driving City vehicles or operating City equipment. The contractor will recruit, screen, interview, test, place, and replace temporary personnel; administer payroll and tax withholding; provide workers' compensation and unemployment insurance; and serve as employer of record. Temporary assignments may last from several days to several months or longer. The City may designate primary and secondary contractors by personnel category, does not guarantee a minimum volume of business, and may use another awarded contractor if a selected firm cannot timely fill a request.
