Description
The State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services is seeking multiple vendors to provide long-term resource support services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes recruiting, screening, interviewing, presenting, and retaining qualified resources; facilitating engagement offers; providing payroll and human-resources administration; processing timecards; maintaining required records; invoicing; supporting compliance, licensing, background-check, security, and policy requirements; and replacing resources when necessary. Resource categories include specialized professional resources, laboratory and medical resources, and traveling resources, with examples ranging from epidemiologists, social-services and behavioral-health professionals, and investigators to chemists, microbiologists, physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, and medical directors. The Department anticipates requesting approximately 400 to 500 resources annually but does not guarantee any specific volume, contract amount, or order value. Multiple awards are anticipated. Vendors must submit four proposal files covering preliminary information, organizational qualifications and experience, proposed services, and proposed markup rates.
