Description
The City of Biddeford is offering a one-time investment of up to $100,000 to a qualified nonprofit organization for a project that strengthens opioid use disorder prevention, harm reduction, treatment access, recovery support, behavioral health infrastructure, transportation access, employment or education supports, or related evidence-based strategies. The City prioritizes durable social or physical infrastructure, expanded service capacity, lasting community assets, and projects that directly benefit Biddeford residents. Eligible costs may include capital and facility improvements, equipment, technology and data infrastructure, program development, outreach and harm-reduction infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, recovery and peer-support infrastructure, training, workforce development, and related professional services. Applicants must demonstrate community need, measurable outcomes, organizational capacity, partnerships, and a credible sustainability plan for continuing the project after the one-time investment. The application must include the required narrative sections, budget worksheet and narrative, project timeline, sustainability plan, applicant information form, and specified organizational and project attachments.
