Description
The City of Bangor is seeking a contractor to replace the roof of the clubhouse at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. The work includes removing all existing roofing materials; repairing or replacing underlayment as needed; installing six feet of ice and water shield, drip edge on all roof edges, and new lifetime-warranty shingles appropriate for the project; and removing debris and cleaning around the building. Bidders must provide an estimated start date and project completion duration. The bid must include the completed Bid Form and all pricing, including miscellaneous charges such as fuel and transportation. The City requires workers' compensation, employer's liability, comprehensive automobile liability, commercial and general liability, and professional liability insurance, with the stated limits, and may require proof naming the City as an additional insured where applicable. The award may consider prior experience, references, cost, and the proposed start date and completion duration.
