Description
The Kenai Peninsula Borough Finance Department is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive short-term rental monitoring program. The contractor must identify short-term rental properties advertised across applicable websites, applications, and platforms; establish and maintain a customizable database containing property, owner, host, listing, occupancy, pricing, review, and related information; regularly monitor and update listings; distinguish ownership changes; assign sales tax account numbers; categorize listings as active or closed; and provide searchable, exportable records through a web-based portal. The scope also includes ongoing assessment of compliance with Borough codes and ordinances, designated project and account management personnel, user support and training, a scalable software platform, a knowledge base, user permissions, and related deliverables. The contract is for three years with two optional one-year renewals. Proposals must address experience, qualifications, key staff, resources, methodology, and cost, including a separate detailed fee schedule.
