Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is conducting a professional selection for design and/or engineering services for a new York County maintenance facility. The project is intended to provide an efficient, safe facility that supports operations and complies with PennDOT standards. The planned facility includes a 42,000-square-foot pre-engineered maintenance building and supporting structures, including bridge and paint crew buildings, a sign shop, vehicle wash building, brine-making building, salt shed, salt storage building, equipment and materials storage buildings, and a fuel island. The estimated construction cost is $39,184,000. Applicants must meet or make good-faith efforts toward Small Diverse Business participation goals of 21% and Veteran Business Enterprise participation goals of 3%. Applications must be submitted through the Trimble Unity Construct bidding portal, and applicants must maintain a current, active Vendor/SAP number.
