Description
The State of Ohio is soliciting proposals from a single contractor to provide operational support for the State of Ohio Computer Center. The scope includes staff augmentation; mainframe services based on a 3,000 MIPS baseline; facilities technical management; cross-functional services; implementation and integration of modern infrastructure services management tools; and alignment with a modernized, future-state operating model. The contractor will manage and maintain locally installed security, closed-circuit television, access-control, and related facility systems, while the Department of Administrative Services Monitoring Center remains outside the scope. Major incident management is co-managed by the supplier and the State and is included in the requirement. This is an MBE set-aside limited to suppliers with active MBE certification when the solicitation closes. The procurement is a single-award opportunity; Kyndryl is identified as the incumbent, and partnering with other companies to augment capabilities is permitted. Amendments update the staff-augmentation scope to add a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst role, remove the previously referenced cross-functional-services attachment, revise the cost summary through 2033, and clarify that offerors must prepare their own technical responses for staff augmentation, facilities technical management, and cross-functional services under Section 4. Technical and Cost Proposals must be submitted through the OhioBuys Supplier Portal.
