Description
The New Brunswick Parking Authority is hiring a full-time Facilities/Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, safety, cleanliness, code compliance, and physical condition of parking garages, surface lots, commercial properties, offices, and related facilities. Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, repair coordination, contractor and vendor management, service-agreement oversight, invoice review, emergency response, records maintenance, and reporting to executive management. The position also supports scopes of work, bid specifications, repair and capital improvement projects, coordination with engineers and other professionals, project scheduling, contractor performance monitoring, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, energy efficiency, and asset-life extension. Applicants should have progressively responsible experience in facilities or property management, construction, building maintenance, public works, parking operations, or a related field; contractor and repair-project management experience; knowledge of building systems; a valid driver's license; and proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic facility/project tracking systems. Regular site inspections and movement through parking structures, mechanical areas, rooftops, and active work areas are required, with occasional work outside normal business hours for emergencies, inspections, or construction activities. The stated salary range is $85,000 to $115,000, depending on experience, with a public-sector benefits package.
