The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, is holding a virtual industry day to discuss an upcoming Geotechnical Drilling Multiple Award Task Order Contract. The event will cover anticipated program requirements and geographic scope, proposed technical evaluation factors, and a tentative acquisition schedule. A formal solicitation is anticipated in February 2027; this notice is for the industry day, not the solicitation itself. The anticipated work includes geotechnical drilling and soil and rock sampling using multiple drilling methods; cone penetrometer testing and test-pit excavation; installation and testing of piezometers, inclinometers, and observation wells; and related field logs and as-built documentation. Contractors may also need to provide licensed geologist or geotechnical engineer services. Laboratory work includes soil classification and testing, and must be performed by an AASHTO-accredited facility validated by the USACE Materials Testing Center for the requested methods.
