Description
The City is seeking qualifications from firms for on-call professional engineering and related services supporting municipal infrastructure. Service categories include stormwater and drainage design; minor roadway and connectivity design; off-system bridge and guardrail analysis, design, and rehabilitation plans; value engineering; easement and right-of-way acquisition; surveying and subsurface utility engineering; and geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing. Work will be authorized through individual task orders, and the City expects to select multiple firms in each category. Projects funded through GDOT or other federal funding sources are excluded. Respondents may submit for one or more categories and must provide a statement of qualifications addressing personnel, firm experience, references, and prior experience with the City. Category selection must be indicated, and a labor-category hourly billable fee schedule must be submitted as a separate file. The solicitation also requires the enclosed proposal and certification materials. For the geotechnical, environmental, and materials-testing category, firms must meet specified technician, accreditation, and certification requirements; subcontracting is permitted subject to City approval and disclosure of planned subcontractors.
