Description
San Joaquin County Public Works is seeking Statements of Qualifications from land surveying firms to provide on-call professional and technical surveying support for county design and construction projects. Work may include topographic and right-of-way surveys, roadway centerline stationing, roadway and shoulder topography, control networks, driveway lists and monument ties, channel surveys, 3D topographic scans and models, construction staking, and project layout. Services must be performed under the supervision of a California-licensed land surveyor, and firms must provide survey data in requested formats, including CSV files, spreadsheets, and field-book notes. The scope and duration of individual assignments will vary; the County will issue assignments as needed and agree on scope, fees, deliverables, and deadlines before work begins. The County expects to select up to four firms for a two-year on-call list, with an option to extend it for one additional year. There is no guaranteed minimum number or value of assignments, and assignments for an individual firm are capped at $200,000 per fiscal year. Subconsultants may be used with prior written County approval. The initial qualifications submission includes a cover letter, conflict-of-interest disclosure, qualifications and experience, reference projects, immediate-area experience, and other specified information. A schedule of costs and fees is requested only from firms selected for the on-call list.
