Description
The Toronto Transit Commission is seeking up to three consultants under a three-year contract, with up to two additional one-year extensions, to provide task-based geotechnical, geo-environmental, hydrogeological, and related risk-assessment services. The scope includes subsurface investigations, drilling and test pits, in-situ testing, geotechnical and environmental laboratory testing, groundwater investigations, environmental site assessments, remediation and soil-management support, emergency spill response, professional reports, drawings, specifications, construction monitoring, and related engineering recommendations. Consultants must retain qualified drilling companies and provide appropriately licensed and experienced personnel, including professional engineers or geoscientists, field technicians, laboratory staff, and environmental specialists. The solicitation evaluates corporate qualifications, project-team qualifications, and pricing. Proposals must use the provided forms and include the Proposal Form, corporate summary, proposed project staff summary, consultant staff list, and price schedules; the joint-venture form is conditional. Mandatory certification documentation is required for specified personnel, and the corporate and project-team submissions have stated page limits. The opportunity may result in up to three contracts and uses work-assignment releases for individual tasks.
