Description
The Town of Apple Valley seeks specialized geophysical consulting and data-analysis services to support selection of a future municipal groundwater production-well site. The selected consultant will review existing hydrogeologic information; develop a conceptual model; design and conduct a noninvasive or minimally invasive geophysical investigation; process and interpret field data; analyze uncertainty and limitations; and recommend and rank at least three technically defensible target areas when supported by the evidence. Proposed methods may include electrical, seismic, resistivity, electromagnetic, gravity, magnetic, remote-sensing, or other technically appropriate approaches. The scope includes project management, QAPP technical support, desktop review, survey design, field investigation, quality control, data integration, target ranking, technical reports, GIS-ready and raw/processed data, presentations, and responses to consolidated comments. Test-well drilling, well construction, and engineering design are excluded. Proposals require a searchable technical proposal of no more than 25 single-sided pages, a separate cost proposal, and completed Forms A through G, including responsibility, conflict, debarment, noncollusion, DBE/subcontractor, and reference information. The contract is anticipated to be one project-specific engagement completed within a period to be inserted in the final contract; no total budget is stated.
