Description
Toronto Community Housing, with Deltera Contracting Inc. acting as construction manager, is procuring the complete energy transfer station and incoming district energy piping extension for Building 4A in Phase 4 of the Regent Park revitalization project. The work includes extending buried district heating and cooling piping into the P1-level energy transfer station room; excavation, backfill, pipe installation, cleaning, flushing, pressure testing, leak-detection wiring, insulation, labeling, supports, and accessories; and installation of secondary piping through the construction demarcation point. The contractor must coordinate delivery and installation of owner-supplied heat exchangers and controls, install control devices, panels, conduit, wiring, Ethernet connections, metering, and related equipment, and provide commissioning support, operating and maintenance manuals, as-built documentation, testing records, and closeout materials. The contractor is expected to complete the ETS room piping and heat-exchanger connections within eight weeks of commencing work, provide a detailed work plan and schedule, comply with applicable safety, environmental, union, accessibility, and local-employment requirements, and contribute 1.5% of the contract value to the Community Economic Development program. Submission Form C pricing must be provided in a separately sealed hard-copy envelope, while the remaining proposal materials require one hard copy and one PDF electronic copy on a USB drive.
