Description
Texas State University is seeking one or more qualified firms to provide national and Texas media relations services. The scope includes strategic media-relations planning; editorial and media-opportunity calendars; proactive outreach to news organizations, trade publications, broadcast outlets, podcasts, newsletters, and digital media; story-angle development; earned-media placement; journalist engagement; and coordination of media opportunities for university leaders, faculty, researchers, and subject-matter experts. The selected firm will also support institutional narratives and thought leadership, expert-source development, rapid-response media opportunities, crisis-communications coordination, media monitoring, and performance measurement. Required deliverables include a strategic plan, annual media-opportunity calendar, outreach and placement activities, an expert-source development program, narrative and messaging recommendations, monthly strategic-planning meetings, quarterly performance reports, and a year-end program assessment. Responses must include qualifications, relevant past projects and references, methodology, project-specific experience, proposed personnel, measurable outcomes, media relationships, quality-control processes, and pricing. A completed Execution of Offer, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Procurement Solicitation Questionnaire, and VetHUB Subcontracting Plan are required with the proposal.
