Description
Pinellas County Solid Waste is seeking on-demand charter transportation services for approximately 90-minute tours of its Solid Waste Disposal Complex. The contractor must provide commercially operated passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, minibuses, or charter buses, with capacities ranging from up to 15 passengers to 31–50 passengers. Both non-wheelchair-accessible and wheelchair-accessible vehicles may be requested. Vehicles and drivers must safely navigate paved, unpaved, and landfill roads; remain on site during reservation periods; and support narrated routes through the complex, including the Waste-to-Energy facility. The contract includes reservation acknowledgments and confirmations, vehicle and driver requirements, cancellation provisions, and pricing for two-hour minimum trips, additional hourly service, and cancellation charges. The initial contract term is 12 months, with up to two additional 12-month extensions. Responses must be submitted through the designated online procurement portal, including the completed contractor acceptance document and pricing proposal.
