Description
The Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District is soliciting bids for charter bus services to transport students. The contract will establish an approved provider list for various bus categories, including Group A (minimum 55 seats), Group B (minimum 47 seats), Group C (minimum 40 seats), Group D (minimum 33 seats), and Group E (minimum 25 seats). All buses must be equipped with three-point seat belts for each passenger, as required by Texas law. The contract period is from August 1, 2020, to July 31, 2021, with four one-year renewal options. Vendors will provide hourly, daily, and mileage rates, as well as additional fees for extra drivers, overnight trips, cancellations, and fuel surcharges. The district will select vendors based on quotes and requirements, and the rates listed are maximums that vendors may not exceed.
