Description
Pinellas County seeks a contractor for an ongoing, as-needed contract to fabricate and deliver regulatory, warning, route, school, temporary traffic control, waterway, navigational, custom, and other signs. The scope includes new aluminum sign blanks, 3M reflective sheeting, compatible inks or films, applied legends, standard bolt-hole placement where specified, packaging, labeling, and delivery. Signs must be ready for installation by County staff and comply with applicable Florida Department of Transportation standards, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and ASTM D4956-09 Type XI retroreflective sheeting requirements. The contractor must be an authorized dealer or reseller of the offered products, provide manufacturer-signed authorization documentation, identify applicable FDOT Approved Products List numbers, provide warranty information, and possess or have access to a large-format printer/plotter. Orders are to be delivered within 30 calendar days unless otherwise agreed. The contract term is 24 months from award, with a possible two-year extension consisting of two additional 12-month periods. Pricing is requested by unit for numerous standard and custom sign items, plus a percentage discount for undefined standard signs and unspecified funds.
