Description
Hillsborough County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for a contractor to provide ongoing and as-needed mowing, cleaning, and maintenance services for canals, outfalls, roadside ditches, drainage areas, and off-system locations throughout the county. Work includes mowing on level and sloped terrain using appropriate equipment, trimming vegetation and brush, removing and disposing of debris and litter, manual weed control, and maintaining areas around drainage structures and other appurtenances. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control, disposal, and incidentals. Services will be assigned through purchase orders and work orders based on the County's needs, with estimated quantities not guaranteed. The contract period is three years, and the estimated project value is $385,950. The award will be made to a single bidder offering the lowest responsive and responsible price for all line items. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation and employers' liability, professional liability, pollution liability, cyber liability, and other coverages identified as applicable in the insurance requirements; bid, performance, and payment bonds are not required.
