The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a one-time, firm-fixed-price contract for one CO2 laser system, one 125 mm handpiece set, six pairs of laser glasses, two Laser Safety Officer certification courses, one online laser education portal for staff, and shipping and installation. No partial quotes will be accepted. The laser must meet specified technical requirements, including continuous-wave, pulsed, and super-pulse emission modes; 0.5–15 W power; 30 W peak power; a 45-inch arm reach; self-contained air cooling; specified spot diameters; a 5 mW adjustable diode aiming beam; defined dimensions and weight; and stated environmental and electrical requirements. A Buy American Certificate must be submitted with each offer. The procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
