Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is requesting a quotation for hardware support to perform a comprehensive diagnostic of the elevator's variable frequency drive (VFD) and repair or replace the VFD unit as needed to restore functionality. The contractor must conduct a full operational load test of the electric hoist motor and perform final system tuning, integration testing, and safety certification before returning the elevator to service. Personnel must be trained, certified, and equipped for fall-protection operations in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 standards. Indiana law requires elevator repair contractors to be licensed in Indiana. The acquisition is not set aside for small businesses. Amendment No. 0001 extends the response deadline to September 21, 2026.
