Description
Southern Wells Community Schools is requesting proposals for a residential house construction project to be undertaken by students in the Building Trades Program during the 2025-2026 school year. The project involves the construction of a new house over the course of one school year, with students working under the direction of an instructor and the Building Trades Board. The proposal must include directory information, project location details (township, site description, size, easements), project plans (basic plans, source of plans, exterior finishing materials), funding information, and documentation for water source, septic system, and building permits. The project will be evaluated based on how well it meets curricular needs within the available time frame. The selected project is expected to begin in August 2025 and extend to June 2026.
