Description
The Cowlitz Indian Tribe is soliciting proposals for professional wayfinding and signage design services for its headquarters campus at 1055 9th Avenue, Longview, Washington. The selected consultant will assess existing conditions, signage, circulation, parking, pedestrian routes, destinations, and decision points; develop a comprehensive wayfinding strategy and signage hierarchy; and create a cohesive signage design system for vehicular, pedestrian, building-identification, campus-map, regulatory, informational, and specialty signs. The work must incorporate approved Cowlitz Indian language and culturally appropriate design elements in coordination with the Tribe’s Culture Department. Deliverables include kickoff documentation and a project schedule, existing-conditions assessment, wayfinding recommendations, campus strategy, preliminary and revised concepts, signage standards, sign-type and location plans, final design specifications, fabrication and installation specifications, cost estimates, and digital design files. The contractor must obtain necessary permits, provide a detailed work schedule, submit at least three recent project references, and perform the work under a lump-sum contract. A mandatory site visit is required, and proposals must include the attached bid form and non-collusion affidavit.
