Description
The Los Angeles Public Library is seeking qualified and experienced entities for professional exhibition services on an as-needed and as-requested basis. Proposers may offer curatorial services, exhibition design services, graphic design services, installation and fabrication services, or any combination of these capabilities. Work may support gallery exhibitions, in-house display cases, and online exhibits at the Central Library and branch libraries, including research and interpretation, exhibition concepts and layouts, interpretive graphics, fabrication of cases and other components, delivery, installation, deinstallation, maintenance, and related project coordination. Applicants must demonstrate at least three years of paid experience in the proposed service areas and submit qualifications, experience, references, letters of recommendation, service narratives, and the required City compliance materials. The resulting contract is expected to run for three years, with specific projects competed among selected contractors through later Notices of Available Work; no minimum amount of work or payment is guaranteed.
