Description
Broward County Aviation Department is seeking up to two consultants to provide open-end environmental compliance services at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport. The scope includes environmental regulatory compliance, permitting and tracking, NPDES and stormwater compliance, wildlife and wetland services, petroleum storage tank services, hazardous and universal waste management, environmental assessments and audits, contaminated-site assessment and remediation support, air and fuel sampling, laboratory services, and related reporting. The contract also includes on-call and on-site support, aviation-related training, emergency response to spills and releases, containment and corrective actions, incident documentation, regulatory notifications, and non-emergency sampling and monitoring. Work will be authorized through separate work authorizations with no guaranteed amount of work. Proposals are evaluated on personnel, project approach, past performance, regulatory and FAA knowledge, and pricing.
