Description
Broward County is soliciting an open-end, indefinite-quantity contract for transit shelters and associated amenities. The requested products include custom bus shelters, benches, leaning and sitting rails, litter and recycling receptacles, bike racks, map cases, solar-powered LED lighting systems, and batteries. Products may be supplied by the specified manufacturers or approved equals and must meet the stated structural, material, electrical, accessibility, Buy America, and applicable Florida Building Code requirements. The contractor must provide product data, installation and maintenance information, warranties, engineering drawings and calculations, samples or finish information when requested, material and welding compliance certificates, and quality-control documentation. Shelters are shop-fabricated and delivered by bus-stop unit, with a maximum production lead time of 112 calendar days after purchase order. The initial term is one year with three one-year renewal options; there is no guaranteed minimum quantity. Responses must include the electronic bid table, Vendor Questionnaire, Buy America Certification, and Bidder's List, with additional FTA certifications and supporting materials identified as optional or submit-on-request items.
