Description
Lorain County is soliciting sealed bids for the Fortune & Dickson Ditch Restoration drainage improvement project in Columbia Township, Eaton Township, and the City of North Ridgeville. The work includes clearing and grubbing; excavation and embankment; restoring the channel flowline and shape; clay hauling; culvert replacement; aggregate access drives; rock channel protection; erosion control; seeding and mulching; and signage. The engineer's estimate of construction cost is $1,484,000.00, and overall project completion is required by July 28, 2027. Work must comply with Ohio Department of Transportation specifications, Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, equal employment opportunity requirements, and applicable Ohio product, material, service, and labor preferences. Bids must use official County bid documents and include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
