Description
The National Forest Foundation is soliciting proposals for construction services to improve a non-motorized river access site on the Taylor River. The project includes mobilization, demolition and site preparation, fencing and tree removal, excavation and backfill, erosion control and drainage improvements, concrete footers, construction and installation of stairs with a raft slide, signage, and a double-panel kiosk. Contractors must provide the required labor, materials, equipment, supervision, quality control, permits, project layout, and electronic as-built drawings. Proposals must include a technical approach, project management plan, detailed work plan and schedule, risk or change-management approach, key personnel, qualifications and relevant experience, three professional references, UEI information if available, federal exclusion affirmation, failed-project and legal-action disclosures, pricing schedule, proposed payment schedule, and current insurance information. The work is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, applicable federal flowdown provisions, and conditional payment and performance security requirements. Construction is anticipated to begin September 7, 2027, with material procurement and mobilization preceding construction.
