The City of Ocala is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals required for exterior concrete stucco repair and installation at City Hall. The work includes surface preparation; repair and sealing of cracks, gaps, voids, and deteriorated joints; application of a concrete sand-finish stucco system to approximately 1,100 square feet of brick masonry; protection of adjacent property; and installation of reinforced precast concrete caps on designated stucco knee walls. The completed work must be uniform, securely bonded, properly sealed, free of significant defects, and approved by the City before payment. The contractor must hold a valid Florida Certified Contractor License and demonstrate at least five years of relevant stucco installation and repair experience. The contract has an initial term of 14 business days, with a maximum two-week lead time for materials. The contractor must perform at least 70% of the work with its own forces, obtain advance approval for subcontractors, comply with applicable codes and OSHA requirements, clean and restore the site, and provide a five-year material and labor warranty. General liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation insurance are required, although the posting states that insurance is not required; the attached scope provides the specific coverage requirements.
