The City of New York Department of Citywide Administrative Services seeks a contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and related services for interior and exterior general construction at various City facilities in Manhattan and the Bronx. The requirements contract encompasses a broad range of unit-price and time-and-materials work, including demolition, carpentry, flooring, masonry, concrete, structural steel, roofing, waterproofing, doors and hardware, glazing, drywall, painting, signage, furnishings, excavation, paving, landscaping, and related construction activities. Work will be issued through individual Work Orders, with scopes, locations, completion dates, and not-to-exceed amounts established by the City. The estimated contract amount is $9,900,000, with an initial three-year term, a possible three-year renewal, and a possible additional one-year extension. The bid requires a completed bid sheet, bid security, New York State Department of Labor contractor and subcontractor registry certification, a sealed subcontractors list identifying subcontractors or self-performance for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades, a New York City Department of Buildings general contractor license, minimum-qualification documentation, and project references. The contract includes a 30% total M/WBE participation goal, a Project Labor Agreement, prevailing-wage requirements, and extensive insurance, bonding, licensing, safety, reporting, and certified-payroll obligations.
