Description
St. Lucie Public Schools is soliciting a properly certified and licensed contractor to provide as-needed inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services for fire sprinkler systems at district facilities. Work includes quarterly and annual inspections under NFPA 25, fire pump and backflow inspections, required reports, repairs, labor, materials, equipment, travel, and emergency response. Fire-system monitoring is excluded. The contractor must hold a Florida State Fire Marshal Contractor Type I or Type II license and submit proof with the bid. Services include inspection and repair of the listed sprinkler systems and backflows, coordination with the district's fire alarm technician, reporting of system conditions, and compliance with applicable NFPA, International Fire Code, and other governing requirements. The initial contract term is one year, with three additional one-year renewal options.
