Palm Beach County is seeking firm, fixed hourly rates for a term contract covering shop and portable spray welding services for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Work includes machining or undercutting damaged areas, applying molten metal by spray, machining repaired areas to manufacturer specifications, and providing adapter sleeves when applicable. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, materials, travel, mobilization, and related incidental expenses, and must respond within eight hours of notification for portable services. Services are ordered on an as-needed basis, with written estimates required before work begins. The solicitation requires pricing for shop and portable standard-rate services and establishes overtime and welder-helper rate rules. The anticipated contract value is $50,000 for the initial 12-month term, with four optional 12-month renewal periods. Respondents must submit the completed quote response form, required qualification and reference information, applicable licenses or certifications, and applicable SBE, local-preference, and federal-funding certifications and schedules.
