Palm Beach County is establishing a pre-qualified vendor list for the as-needed purchase and delivery of mass transit bus parts. Requested parts include suspension, brakes and steering, engine and transmission, body and interior, and electrical components for Gillig Low Floor and New Flyer/MCI buses of various model years and sizes. Vendors must be able to supply all requested parts or identify the bus types and component categories they can support. Pre-qualified vendors will receive periodic project-specific requests for written quotations, with individual projects generally awarded on an all-or-none basis to the lowest responsive quote. The term is 60 months or until estimated funding is expended, with anticipated expenditures of $19,000,000. Delivery is FOB destination, with exact delivery points specified on individual delivery orders. Required response materials include the provided pre-qualification response form, applicable certifications and licenses, local-preference documentation if claimed, and the required human-trafficking and diversity, equity, and inclusion certifications.
