Description
Palm Beach County is soliciting bids to establish a term contract for the as-needed purchase and delivery of medical gases and related accessories. The requirements include multiple sizes of medical oxygen cylinders, cylinder valves, oxygen O-rings, hydrostatic testing, cylinder repairs, replacement costs for lost or uneconomical-to-repair cylinders, and cylinder rental fees. The contract also covers deliveries to Fire Rescue stations, Animal Care and Control facilities, and Parks and Recreation locations throughout Palm Beach County, with destination delivery and no minimum order requirements. The initial contract term is 12 months, with four additional 12-month renewal periods available by mutual written agreement. The anticipated value for the initial term is $222,000. Bidders must provide pricing for every item in any lot they bid, submit at least three similar references from the past three years, provide evidence of authorization as a certified facility for oxygen-gas pickup, filling, and distribution, and comply with specified insurance, emergency-delivery, registration, and certification requirements.
