Description
The School District of Palm Beach County's new Transportation West Central Facility will include an approximately 14,000-square-foot two-story administration building, an approximately 26,500-square-foot maintenance building, a bus and vehicle wash building, and a fueling station building. The scope also includes sitework, utilities, asphalt and concrete parking areas, fencing, landscaping, and hardscape. Sealed bids will be accepted from pre-qualified bidders only, and all subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the construction manager before the bid date. The project includes a minimum 20% Tier 1 subcontractor participation requirement under the district's Small Business Enterprise Program. Personnel working on active school grounds must complete Level 2 fingerprinting and obtain district badges before mobilization.
