Description
Sacramento County is soliciting sealed bids for the South Sacramento Sidewalk Gap Closure Tree Removal Project. The work includes traffic control and removal of designated trees along Cottonwood Lane and Stevenson Avenue, with trunks left approximately two feet above existing grade, removal and legal disposal of debris, and restoration or replanting of disturbed landscaping. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work required by the plans and specifications. The project includes approximately nine tree-removal bid items of varying trunk diameters, a traffic-control plan and implementation item, pedestrian and bicycle access measures, utility protection, and maintenance of traffic. A valid California contractor's license classified as C49 or C-61/D-49 is required. The estimated construction cost is $110,000, the completion period is 20 working days, and the apparent low bidder must provide specified fleet-compliance documentation after bid opening and before award.
