Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking four sterile, single-use pneumothorax hypodermic needles, NSN 6515-01-655-9514. The requested item is an aspiration and injection needle with a hollow closed-end stylet, spring-loaded safety-tip housing, 14-gauge interior catheter measuring 8.6 cm, Luer lock, color safety indicator, depth markings, and a six-inch by 0.8-inch round form factor. The item must have a 60-month non-extendable shelf life and comply with applicable FDA registration and listing, labeling, good manufacturing practices, medical marking, and DLA technical and quality requirements. The specified source is Combat Medical Systems LLC, CAGE 515E6, part number PNEUMODART; alternate offers require a complete data package for evaluation. Delivery is required within 20 days after order, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951, DLA packaging requirements, and MIL-STD-129, and shipment must use a traceable method rather than parcel post. The quotation must identify the source and part number being supplied and must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
