The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking six packages of disposable, sterile, size 10 Bard-Parker safety scalpels with one-handed locking retractable shields. The unit of issue is a package containing 100 each. No alternatives will be accepted; the solicitation identifies American Safety Razor Co. part number 73-0110 and Aspen Surgical Products Inc. part number 372610 as requested sources and part numbers. The supplies must have a 60-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than nine months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. The quote must identify the source and part number, and alternate offers require complete technical data, although the solicitation states that no alternatives will be accepted. Delivery is required 30 days after award, FOB origin, with inspection and acceptance at origin. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and applicable medical marking requirements; the product is an FDA-regulated Class I device.
