Description
Sarasota County is soliciting quotes from a qualified general or building contractor to repair hurricane-damaged interiors on the second floor of the baseball building at the Youth Athletic Complex. The work includes drywall and baseboard repairs, bathroom-floor cleaning and polishing, installation of glued-down hallway and score-room flooring, replacement of ceiling tiles, grid frames, vents, and damaged insulation, removal and installation of carpet, and comprehensive interior painting of walls, doors, trim, stairwell areas, and specified concrete floors. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, materials, debris removal, permits, and related services. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days after the County-issued purchase order. A current General Contractor or Building Contractor license is required, along with two references for comparable interior facility repair projects completed within the prior seven years. The total bid, including the required 10% contingency line item, may not exceed $150,000. The solicitation includes specified insurance requirements, including workers’ compensation, commercial general liability, and business automobile liability coverage.
