Description
Johnson County Community College seeks a contractor for the complete renovation of existing first- and second-floor restrooms in the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. The scope includes selective demolition; new plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and accessories; HVAC modifications; electrical and lighting work; fire-alarm and sprinkler modifications; gypsum board, tile, painting, doors, hardware, toilet compartments, countertops, mirrors, hand dryers, dispensers, and related finishes. The base bid covers the restroom remodel, with an add alternate for replacement floor tile if existing stone cannot be salvaged and a deduct alternate for Corian Glacier White countertops with integrated sinks in lieu of marble countertops and stainless-steel lavatories. Construction is anticipated to begin around December 29, 2026, and must be completed by June 30, 2027. The response is limited to 40 pages, excluding cover and divider pages, and must be a single PDF no larger than 7 MB using 11-point Calibri; pricing is entered in the procurement portal.
