Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks small-business capability statements for an anticipated repair and alteration project at the Harry S. Truman Federal Building. The work is expected to include field verification of roof and structural conditions; fabrication and installation of anchorage components and structural attachments; drilling, coring, welding, roof penetrations, flashing, waterproofing, and protection of existing roof systems, rooftop equipment, solar infrastructure, lightning protection, drainage components, and occupied interior spaces. The contractor would also provide testing, labeling, certification, as-built drawings, warranties, closeout documentation, shop drawings, stamped calculations, fall-protection measures, and a detailed phasing plan addressing roof zones, sequencing, security boundaries, access and hoisting routes, fall protection, and phase durations. The building will remain fully occupied during the work, requiring coordination to avoid impacts to Department of State operations. The estimated construction cost is $15 million to $25 million, with an approximately 850-calendar-day period of performance from the notice to proceed. Respondents must submit recent relevant project examples, company information, socioeconomic-status evidence, fair-market-pricing information, and a statement of intent to bid if the future procurement is set aside.
