Description
The City of Pleasanton is soliciting proposals for annual citywide intersection counts at 174 intersections, including AM and PM turning-movement counts and additional mid-day counts at 55 school-related intersections. All approaches must be counted, with possible additional effort at intersections having unusual conditions. Counts must be collected using remote fixed-camera video, and video files must be provided to the City after counting. The work includes five-minute traffic data, vehicle classification, pedestrian and bicycle counts by crosswalk or movement, lane configuration and aerial diagrams, GIS coordinates, peak-hour and peak-15-minute reporting, validation and quality assurance, and electronic individual intersection reports in PDF and Microsoft Excel formats. A summary Excel workbook with separate AM, PM, and school mid-day worksheets is also required. The agreement covers two annual count cycles for 2027 and 2028, with three one-year extension options for 2029 through 2031.
