Description
Butte County Public Works is soliciting bids for two new three-yard extended-cab, four-wheel-drive dump trucks with a 19,500-pound GVWR and specifications comparable to a Ford F-550. Required features include a 6.7L V8 turbo-diesel engine or equivalent, 10-speed automatic transmission, dual rear wheels, heavy-duty braking and suspension, towing equipment, trailer mirrors, running boards, and standard cab amenities. Each truck must include a heavy-duty steel three-yard dump bed with a headache rack, fold-down sides, tool and equipment holders, tie-down rings, ladder, asphalt patching box, guarded controls, backup alarm, amber warning lights, work lights, mud flaps, and related accessories. Bidders must identify the proposed make and model, provide dealer specification printouts, state delivery timing, identify any exceptions or equivalent specifications, and include operator, repair, and shop maintenance manuals. The bid requires completion and submission of the IFB cover page and the applicable pages of Exhibit A.
