Description
The Forest Products Laboratory requires a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials for wet sprinkler system inspections and servicing. The work covers five buildings and three sprinkler systems, including wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and antifreeze systems, with inspections conducted approximately every three months. Work must generally occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with work dates coordinated after award. The firm-fixed-price purchase order includes one annual sprinkler inspection and three quarterly sprinkler inspections during the period of performance from September 30, 2026, through August 31, 2027. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and requires pricing for all line items. Quotations will be evaluated on price and acceptable or neutral past performance using a lowest-price technically acceptable approach. The solicitation includes an experience questionnaire requiring project history, references, equipment information, quality-control and safety procedures, and a proposed work schedule.
