Description
The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking multiple vendors to provide custom machined parts, modifications to existing parts, and component assemblies based on university-provided designs, diagrams, and drawings for research and development projects. The solicitation includes sample components such as aluminum drill assemblies, plates, tubes, flanges, mounts, base components, a core tray locator, and a relay mount rail. Vendors must be the original manufacturer of the parts covered by the contract and must provide detailed technical information, pricing, delivery times, shipping terms, warranty information, and return policies. The initial contract term is October 1, 2026, or the date of award, through September 30, 2029, with two additional one-year renewal terms. The University does not guarantee any specific purchase quantity or dollar amount and expects to award the contract to multiple vendors. Deliveries are FOB destination, and subcontracting or assignment requires prior written approval. The solicitation requires a completed Vendor Information Form, applicable certifications and acknowledgments, a technical proposal or sufficient quotation, and any required proprietary-information form; the response must be submitted electronically through the sourcing module.
