Description
Glenn County is soliciting professional engineering, surveying, and environmental services for replacement of Bridge 11C-0075 on County Road Z over Angel Slough. The selected consultant will provide project management; topographic, drone, and right-of-way surveying; hydraulic and hydrologic studies; geotechnical investigation; bridge and roadway design; utility coordination; right-of-way documents; environmental studies and permitting; and preparation of a complete, biddable Plans, Specifications, and Estimates package compliant with applicable Caltrans, FHWA, AASHTO, state, and local requirements. The scope also includes progress PS&E submissions at 35%, 65%, and 95%; independent bridge-design peer review; bid-period assistance; construction support; review of submittals, shop drawings, and design changes; field reviews; and preparation of record drawings. Required environmental work may include NEPA and CEQA documentation, biological and cultural-resource studies, wetland delineation, hazardous-waste surveys, and permits from federal and state agencies. Proposals are technical proposals with a separately sealed fee proposal, and the technical proposal is limited to 30 single-sided or 15 double-sided pages, excluding specified items.
