Description
The City of Moline Community Housing Services Program is soliciting bids for owner-occupied rehabilitation work at 2209 36th Street in Moline, Illinois. The scope includes installing a complete 1/3-horsepower submersible sump pump with pit, liner, lid, discharge piping, check valve, dedicated GFCI circuit, and battery backup; removing and replacing basement laundry-room flooring as needed; and connecting the discharge to the exterior drainage system. Exterior work includes installing approximately 60 linear feet of foundation drainage with waterproofing, perforated drain pipe, stone backfill, gutter downspout connections, and a drain emitter; adding graded soil and sod; and removing and replacing a concrete sidewalk with a 4-inch-thick, 3,000-psi, air-entrained concrete surface designed to drain away from the foundation. Bidders must be licensed general contractors with the City of Moline, comply with applicable codes and permitting requirements, and complete the work within 45 calendar days of contract execution. EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting certification and a Certified Renovator are required when applicable to pre-1978 structures. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be selected.
