Description
The City of Rock Island Police Department is soliciting proposals for a fixed-price service agreement to modernize its Community Room technology. The scope includes evaluating and upgrading lighting controls, converting automated window blinds to manual operation, replacing or integrating the projector, modernizing wall- and podium-mounted control panels, and evaluating or upgrading computer connectivity, camera, conference phone, and microphone systems. Vendors must identify equipment and infrastructure that can be reused, modified, replaced, or removed. The selected vendor will provide all required equipment, labor, wiring, mounting, programming, integration, testing, troubleshooting, labeling, cleanup, user training, and project documentation. Proposals must include company information, relevant experience, project approach, detailed equipment and labor pricing, separately priced alternatives, an anticipated project schedule, warranty and support information, and completed bidder reference, equal-employment-policy, and affidavit materials. A pre-bid conference and site inspection are scheduled for October 7, 2026, and sealed bids are due at the bid opening on October 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.; electronic submissions are not accepted.
