The U.S. Army is soliciting an ISO 17025-accredited contractor to inspect and calibrate granite surface plates at the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center in accordance with ASME B89.3.7. The work includes determining overall and local flatness and lapping or repairing tabletops that are outside specification. The contractor must affix calibration stickers and provide a Service Acceptance Report within three business days after completing calibration. The requirement covers 18 laboratory-grade granite tables and includes a base year from February 2, 2027, through February 1, 2028, plus four one-year option periods. Pricing is firm fixed price by lot for the base year and each option year. The contractor must sign and concur with the Scope of Work and submit documentation demonstrating capability to perform inspection, calibration, and lapping or repair. Performance occurs on the Army installation during authorized weekday working hours and is subject to installation access, safety, security, and visitor-badge requirements.
